Center for Social Research Analitika is organizing expert discussion “The Judical Response to Corruption: Key Trends, Problems and Possible Solutions”, which will be held on December 14th 2018, from 11:00 to 13:00 at the Hotel Swissotel Sarajevo (Vrbanja 1, 71000 Sarajevo).

Expert discussion will provide a review of the quality and efficiency of the work of the courts in BiH in the domain of the processing of corrupt criminal offenses. The event will start with presentation of the findings of a three-year monitoring and analysis of the work of the courts in BiH in the area of processing corruption offenses, conducted by the Center for Social Research Analitika, and by the representatives of BIRN, who will present the problems observed during the daily reporting and monitoring of the trial for corrupt criminal offenses in BiH. The representative of the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption and Coordination of the Fight against Corruption will then offer a review of possible strategic measures and activities that can improve the work of the judiciary in this field.

After the introductory presentations, discussion will be open for all participants at the event, including representatives of judicial institutions, executive and legislative authorities at various levels, media, NGOs and international actors dealing with the issues of judicial reform in BiH.
